No Brow Show: Harrison Ford’s Money Marinade!

This episode is so full it's just a bit silly really. There's a shameful amount of Superhero talk, and a mandatory debate about the Star Wars Trailer. After that, we get classy, reviewing Fast and Furious 7, as well as While We're Young and Force Majeure.

btw Wild Wild West is AWFUL!

Chappie and Better Call Saul or Mein Blomkampf

It's a well stocked episode this time, as we introduce Allister McQuarrie to the fray.

On the roster this week!
-iZombie
-Chappie
-Better Call Saul (Which somehow leads into a discussion of the function of art itself!

Fifty Shades of Grey & Kingsman: The Secret Service or Chekov’s Ghost

We're joined for the first twelve minutes by expert on all things sexual, Nick Batley! Unfortunately, before the reviews begin, Nick's house is hit by a meteor the exact size of his recording equipment, so just imagine he is contributing to a level that completely exlipses Pete and Brodie.

Inherent Vice and Berlinale

Finally! Everyone who was confused by Inherent Vice can breathe a sigh of relief, for we review Paul Thomas Anderson's latest to reveal that.... we were pretty confused too. But hey we're self aware about it.

Pete also gives his thoughts on the Berlin Film Festival!

Jupiter Ascending & Selma or Going Mad and Mansplaining

We were worried this week's review might get boring as the films are so similar, but we decided to go for it, just like Mila Kunis tends to go for dog men.

This week, we talk Jupiter Ascending and the mad magic of the Wachowskis in general, and Brodie rains on America's parade with his review of Selma.

Whiplash & Ex Machina or Too Many Goofs

So on this fine day, Flynn and Brodie discuss the boisterous Oscar-bait, "Whiplash", before Pete goes against the mainstream and suggests that the Alex Garland directed Sci-fi, Ex Machina, might be a bit pervy, because he is king of feminism!

Birdman & Foxcatcher or Arty Vishnu ate too many twinkies

We're here with a double barrel load of thinking we're clever, with no one around to prove us wrong!

We review Birdman, and talk art, culture and sweet drum sessions!
Then we talk about Foxcatcher and get reminded that reality never lives up to movies, even with fake noses.

No Brow Show - Mr Turner Review

So this is our first lost recording.  Zhana's end only went for 8 minutes, making the episode unusable. Luckily, Pete and Brodie did a review for Mr Turner all by themselves, and that (almost) makes up for things.

No Brow Show 2: Mustache Smash

Nerf guns for girls is our latest band name, but surprisingly, there's also talk of movies, including the mandatory review of the trailer for Avengers 2.

We gush over Furious 7 before anything is even unveiled,  we debate horror films, and Pete gets a little  snooty about it. Zhana has a review for Chef that ain't easy to swallow, and Brodie tells us about Steven Soderberg's, The Knick. We also have reviews for Fury, Rubber, and Shia Labeouf''s promising career as a cannibal.
